On December 22, 2008 the wall of a fly ash holding pond collapsed, covering the surrounding area and river in muck. The clean-up will take years and costs millions of dollars. This area is potentially lost to birders and naturists for this and possibly future generations .... Thank You TVA! Located in Kingston, Tennessee.
